1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Roadworthy ("the Portal"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Portal.

2. Description of Service

Roadworthy provides visual tools for inspecting public UK vehicle MOT histories, VED tax statuses, advisory defects, predictive MOT risk, and mileage-discrepancy warnings. It also offers fuel price comparisons, EV charging locations, Clean Air Zone compliance, journey cost estimates, traffic volumes, wheel fitment specifications, and local garage vehicle tracking.

3. Public Data Sources & Accuracy

Vehicle information, MOT test records, fuel prices, EV charging station data, traffic volumes, and wheel fitment data displayed within the Portal are sourced from public UK government registers (DVLA, DVSA, Department for Transport) and open data initiatives (Open Charge Map). While we strive to present real-time, accurate visualizations, Roadworthy does not guarantee complete data accuracy or availability from upstream registers.

4. Fair Usage & Quotas

Anonymous visitors receive 5 vehicle lookups per 24-hour period. Registered free accounts receive 20 vehicle lookups per 24-hour period, and Roadworthy Pro subscribers receive 100 lookups per 24-hour period. Lookups served from the database cache do not count against your quota. Guests can save up to 2 vehicles in their garage with up to 2 maintenance reminders per vehicle; signing in removes those caps. Automated scraping, rate-limit evasion, or bulk query abuse outside the intended user interface is strictly prohibited.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Roadworthy, its maintainers, or contributors be liable for any decision made, action taken, or costs incurred (including MOT re-tests, tax penalties, or vehicle purchasing decisions) in reliance upon the information provided by the Portal.
